Plot: The end of a war is never an end, even when heads of state and the media declare victory.
Our journey takes place in Iraqi Kurdistan. An area that, from the conflict against Isis, has inherited over 40 refugee camps, 1.6 million people in need, half of whom are under 18 years old. The diary of a mother accompanies us on the journey of rebuilding a normal life, made of simple things. It is an explosive and unexpected euphoria. Life wants to go on. And so, a bombed-out city lets itself be colored by a swimming pool and the laughter of young people swimming.
