By car: You can get from Rome to Avellino by taking the highway A16/E84 towards Bari, and the exits Avellino Est or Avellino Ovest. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes.
The best solution to get from Rome to Avellino without a car is by bus.
The ride lasts approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes, and the tickets are from €13.

How to get to Avellino from Naples
By car: From Naples to Avellino by taking the highway Naples – Bari (A16/E842) and the exits Avellino Est or Avellino Ovest. Approximately 50 minutes.

The frequency of departures from Napoli central station is every hour/half an hour.
