Plot: To fully understand Pasolini’s work, we must start from the beginning. From the poet’s childhood and adolescence places. Casarsa, Versuta, Friuli. This film is a journey into the rural culture and community that forged the writer. A montage of interviews with students and friends from that important period. Nico Naldini tells us about the closeness and adventures with his cousin in the Friuli countryside. Giuseppe Zigaina describes the pictorial training of the poet. Ovidio Colussi reveals how and why the Academiuta de lenga friuliana was founded. Don Dante Spagnol tells us about Pasolini as a teacher. Then, there are Guglielmo Susanna and Maria Querin, who studied at the Valvasone school, and Brusin, the lawyer. A unique record just restored by Cineteca del Friuli.
