Sinossi: Nella campagna veneta un vecchio contadino vive solo con i suoi animali. Di tutti, il più fedele è un asino di nome Giorgio. Quando un giorno l’asino si ammala Antonio corre a chiedere al giovane prete di andare a casa sua a benedire l’animale. Dopo il suo rifiuto la governante lo esorta ad andare al santuario sulla montagna per chiedere l’intercessione di Sant’Antonio Abate. Così facendo e se questa fosse stata la volontà del Santo potrebbe guarire.

Plot: In the Venetian countryside an old farmer lives alone with his animals. Of all, the most faithful is a donkey named Giorgio. When one day the donkey gets sick Antonio runs to ask to the young priest to go to his home to bless the animal. After his refusal the housekeeper urges him to go to the sanctuary on the mountain to seek Saint Anthony Abbot’s intercession. In doing so and if this had been the will of the Saint it would be healed.
