wundermediterraneankammer

Directed by:Carlo Michele Schirinzi
Year:2023
Country: Italia
Running Time: 23’
Produced by: Untertosten Film – Produktionen Autarkiken
Plot: A stream of watered-down images – salvaged or permantently drowned – recovered in the shuffled body of a Frankenstein, shipwrecked limbs condemned to preserve their shroud until the memory of the last person who saw/experienced them will burn. Archeology aimed at digging up figures from History to deliver them to Geography while, in the exhausting re-emergence of amputated frames and faces wounded by use, the son has lost his father, bodies have lost their identities (diluted by the Mediterranean), nature has succumbed to its image (the skies and seas of Romano Sambati) which has become a matter of the skin, the definitive property of touch – and in the meantime man and God, of all this, could not care less.
