Still Standing. Eyes One Year Later

5  December | 17.30 | Sala 1

Directed by: Paola Bruno
Year: 2021
Country: Italia
Running Time: 9’
Plot: On 7-9 May in Avellino, in the botanical garden, reopened for the event, a real photographic cobweb, made up of 80 portraits, was weaved. Photos were taken during the first lockdown due to covid-19 pandemic. Photographed people came to collect their own photos. They left their comments on the photographic event and sincerely describe their emotions on the past year. At the end of the three days, only one photo remained on the cobweb, the one of the filmaker’s father who died on December 1, 2020, to whom this video is dedicated. The film is also dedicated to all the people who silently disappeared during the pandemic.
